Topic 1:Flexural behaviors of sand and cemented sand-filled FRP piles
- Contribution: The flexural behavior of sand and cemented sand filled FRP piles were studied. The effect of different cement contents and basalt fiber contents on the flexural behavior of the cemented sand filled
FRP piles was understood. Simulate the flexural behavior of the new hybrid structures by using ABAQUS.
- Significance: The new hybrid structure can be used in reclamation engineering.
Topic 2:Compressive behaviors of sand and cemented sand-filled FRP tubes
- Contribution: Understood the confinement effects of different thickness of FRP tubes on sand and cemented sand, and the compressive behaviors of sand and cemented sand-filled FRP tubes.
- Significance: The new hybrid structure can be used in reclamation engineering.
