Academic qualifications

  • Ph.D. Candidate in Geotechnical Engineering, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, 2020 - now
  • Master in Civil Engineering, Tongji University, Shanghai, 2016 – 2019
  • Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Tongji University, Shanghai, 2012 – 2016

Research interests

  • Nonlinear finite element analysis in geotechnical engineering

Topic 1:Implicit SNS-PFEM for hydro-mechanical coupled problems with polynomial pressure projection

  • Contribution: develop implicit NS-PFEM framework for hydro-mechanical coupled problems.
  • Significance: solved the problem of integration instability and spurious pore pressure oscillation.

Topic 2:Implicit SNS-PFEM for pure solid, especially nearly incompressible materials

  • Contribution: develop SNS-PFEM framework for simulations with large deformation and material nonlinearity.
  • Significance: propose a novel NS-PFEM framework which could preserve the integration stabilization and non-locking feature simultaneously.
