Topic 1:Development of Fluid-Structure-Seabed Interaction Platform

  • Contribution: Try to develop the FSSI (fluid-structure-seabed interaction) platform based on PFEM for simulation of marine geotechnical engineering problems.
  • Significance: Try to find the appropriate contact algorithm and improve the accuracy and speed of multi-phase simulation.

Topic 2:PFEM-based Partly Nodal Integration Method for FSI Problems

  • Contribution: proposed an explicit α-NS-PFEM method combining the nodal integration and elemental integration.
  • Significance: improving the computational efficiency and accuracy of FSI problems with the proposed method with fluid stabilization algorithms.
