Topic 1:Pattern recognition and analysis of granular materials based on deep learning and computer vision

  • Contribution: developed deep learning based models to segment granular particles and implemented evaluation of shape indexes and grain size distribution.
  • Significance: Reducing the labor cost in experiments, simplifying the process of evaluating shape indexes and gsd curves.
