The 17th International Conference of the International Association for Computer Methods and Advances in Geomechanics (IACMAG 2025) was successfully held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from December 18 to 21, 2025.

The conference brought together leading researchers, engineers, and experts from around the world to share the latest advancements in computational geomechanics and geoengineering. Over four days, participants engaged in keynote speeches, parallel sessions, and poster presentations covering topics such as intelligent computational methods, digital twins, multiphysics modeling, and sustainable geoengineering practices.

Professor Zhen-Yu YIN served as the Chair of the Local Organizing Committee, with strong support from our team members who contributed as secretaries and coordinators. The conference was a great opportunity to showcase PolyU's research excellence and strengthen international collaborations in civil and environmental engineering.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and supporting institutions for making IACMAG 2025 a memorable and impactful conference.
